Not bad, but I found this far more blasphemous, non-euclidian, eldritch, and cyclopean, not to mention antispherical.Avatar wrote:www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1RTgznup5c
ah, this is great. I don't think I could (to the extent of what "can" implies, that is to say, both the ability and mutual will to) date a member of the watch. the only female watcher that I find realistically compatible with me is the sheep and she is half a planet away. the lesser problem I reckon to be the distance

Tonight's date was a little shorter than usual (2.5 hours), however managed to discuss our plans for the London trip, talked about Finland's flora, plans for the weekend, Scottish kilts and extracts from various stories by Terry Pratchett, Lovecraft and SRD were read to each other. Puns and other forms of word play were also engaged in.

"Mush-heart" or "Loveydoveyheart" would not celebrate the glory of an arctic dawn, the low-angled sunlight filtering through the curtain of pines and speckling the sparkling drifts with amber, the deep crunch of snow underfoot, the twinkling dance of crystals in the air, or the fire-pillar halo stretching far into the welkins... Pffth, southerners. Try sometimes cross-country skiing beneath a galaxy of silvery stars and the ghostly flicker of auroras.

Well tonight's date had a bit of a Harry Potter vibe to it, as Frosty had done some Potter Cosplay at Turku over the weekend, as well as visiting various historical attractions over the weekend. Then we discussed about Finnish fauna, especially winter adaptations that various creatures perform.
This then led us to discuss Cairn Cemetery Bears, a race of pygmy bear that make their homes among the various cairns etc dotted about the Finnish countryside. I then related about a similar type of bear that use to inhabit the various earthworks in the British Isles. Their only fault was when they saw people they would roll on their backs and people would tickle their tumulus.
Frosty has been reacquainting herself with Sutton Hoo, as we are hoping to see the exhibition in the British Museum on the 15th August.
Brief references were made to H.P.Lovecraft and Clark Ashton Smith as well as a brief diversion into string theory and quantum mechanics and 5-dimensional space.
The evening ended with us going through various Potter miscellanea.
Once again Frosty complained of aching jaw/cheeks, however, at least her ribs are intact this week

Tonight's date had an Old English feel to it as Frosty informed me about Sutton Hoo and how it relates to the Vendel Age and about how various artifacts found in Sweden, Norway and Finland find their articulation in the ship burial at Sutton Hoo.
Some readings were done from the "Knights of Swords" and "Elric of Melnibone" Then some matters related to our trip to London at the weekend were discussed and the evening ended with Frosty reciting from "Beowulf"
What state poor Frosty will be on Sunday evening I hate to think, however, I feel that we will have an enjoyable weekend getting to know each other better
