Hello from Khazakstan
I am from Khazakstan, and I am saying hello! Like Thomas Covenant and I think he is excellent man!
"Oh of course," the Navigator said with faint mocking in his voice, "you have probably heard of House Praetus. We have a palace on Holy Terra. Like all powerful groups, we also have our enemies. Do you honestly think someone like you matters?" - A dissolute noble.

Hail Recluce, welcome to the Watch.

You do not hear, and so you cannot be redeemed.

He knew only that they had never striven to reject the boundaries of themselves.

Thanks for the welcome Variol Son.... I will be more active once I have started reading Donaldson's works.
And yeah, you all sure don't stay on-topic for very long, do you? As a mod, I've deleted tons of OT stuff in the other forums I frequent. But, it is interesting sometimes to watch the evolution...

Sometimes something big comes along which tends to 'possess' all topics. We get over it. Or we get slapped upside the heads by the mods. Either way, it works!
Welcome Recluce! Welcome to everyone (and for the record Avatar, most Aussies swear like troopers & we often use swears as terms of endearment in our country, as long as you smile when you say it , or at least offer a beer!)

Oh damn, we're busted guys. A real mod. Run and hide!
I don't know how many I speak for recluse, (although I suspect quite a few ) but here at the Watch, I think the conversation is more important than the topic. And we try to avoid having to delete stuff.
Now that I'm thinking about it, just like in the flow of real conversation, points bring up tangents which get followed up, sometimes briefly and sometimes extensively.
Although the title in a guide, there's no way to know what is being talked about at any given time in any topic, unles you read it. I think it's great.
Swearing ElfGirl? I hadn't noticed. I was just amused by thinking of a new Member arriving at that page and seeing that post. That wasn't swearing. (In real life, I unfortunately swear constantly when I talk. It doesn't affect my writing though. )
