Hello all.
New here, but have been reading SRD since my 6th form days, around 8 years ago, since then, I've had 2 copies of the collected trilogies, almost had a heart attack when I found out about Runes, and bought everything I possibly could, including mordants need, and the short stories books.
I'm seriously looking foward to Revenant, and am currently re-reading the first trilogy.

Welcome newcomers Mahnodoubt, Truesoul Brinemane and likuidice.
He who is certain he knows the ending of things when he is only beginning them is either extremely wise or extremely foolish; no matter which is true, he is certainly an unhappy man, for he has put a knife in the heart of wonder.~Tad Williams

Hello all,
I've been a Covenant fan for about 8 years now, ever since an unwitting relative gave me "The One Tree" because they knew I enjoyed fantasy!
Obviously it was a little confusing starting at the 2nd book of the 2nd trilogy, but I liked the story, style and characters so much I was hooked!
Was a big change from Star Wars novels and Tolkien's books (eg. LOTR for the millionth time!).
I went out and got the omnibus editions of both Chronicles, and loved every minute! I'm gradually adding to my SRD book collection too.
Found this site a few years ago and nearly barfed with excitement when the Last Chronicles were mentioned!
Thought it was a cruel joke at first, but obviously not!
As I have net access now, I can discuss and digest these brilliant books with you wonderful people.
Looking forward to it!

Welcome to the Watch, Reave!

Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want
to test a man's character, give him power.
--Abraham Lincoln
Excerpt from Animal Songs Never Written
"Hey, dad," croaked the vulture, "what are you eating?"
"Carrion, my wayward son."
"Will there be pieces when you are done?"

Hi all
Big SRD fan, read the first chrons 20 years ago and have reread them countless times since. Was recently searching on the net for news on the sequel to Runes, which led me here. Gutted that we still got another year to wait, but at least i can pass the time in good company!
Filling in the time rereading the Gap series currently. My top 3 authors (in no particular order) are SRD, Janny Wurts and CJ Cherryh.
Happy reading folks.
