a long time ago i used to be somebody else. then George W Bush got me taken from the board. or i quit because of burn out. take whatever story you like best. well upon my triumphant return i wanted to shed the past and bad memories. i am a sergeant at work, at the prison. and i love the word Null. presto bango...Sgt.Null.
edge made my oh so cool avatar. because i hate clowns, i collect them as a totem. i also play one on occassion. well i had a song called Oddjack the Acid Clown a long time ago. that turned into a short story, that turned into a supervillain in my very own Zen Men Comics, that turned into me in costume.

I guess I should have mentioned, that I was talking about sgtnull's avatar. Thought the lack of capitalisation would be explanation enough
Isn't it amazing how much punctuation and capitalisation means

Quite abstract really, to think differently of someone because they have peanuts! Are we elephants or whatIt is funny how much "The Avatar" means. Before, when you had your peanuts Avatar, I thought of you as an entirely different person.

No, no sgtnull. I was talking to Avatar about the capitalisation in MY post, not yours. Your sentence flow is impeccable.
I'll have to get back to you on the feelings, that your avatar gives me tomorrow, as it is late, and my son will be getting up no later than 6 in the morning.

Usivius: long story.
The short version is that it is the name a priest friend of ours gave to me on my 'official' birth certificate as a joke. I am trying to imagine my parents looking down at the certificate for the first time and seeing the name Usivius Eurineus Harrison.
I like the name usivius and use it far too often....

I realize that the thread on the TC board is currently the venue of preference for this topic, but I would feel strange posting the origin of my name there, since it's actually from the Gap series.
I've been using this name since sometime in 1994, when I belonged to a Gap RPG. I was the only female member, and they tried to get me to change to something more mainstream on a number of occasions, with no success. When I joined the Watch, it was the only logical choice. I did actually scroll through the entire memberlist to make sure it wasn't already in use, not surprisingly, it wasn't.
So, for those of you who have not read the Gap series, my namesake is Sorus Chatelaine, captain of the pirate ship Soar.
If I tried to explain why I use this name, it would probably take all day.

Oh, a change is coming, feel these doors now closing
Is there no world for tomorrow, if we wait for today?
I don't think I ever "officially" greeted you, Sorus. Nice to meet you!
I've still only read the first Gap book. At present, I just don't have a burning desire to read the rest. If and when a Gap group read starts up, that might motivate me. Other than that, I'll just wait until a sufficent amount of guilt forces me to finish reading the series.
