I've sorta already experienced that! But it doesn't bother me with books that aren't as important to me. Monte Cristo had a bunch of accents that the reader used to distinguish the French from the Italian etc, and the translation was way different to the one that I had read in the past. Still, I enjoyed it because it's a great story, I can listen to it while driving, there's no way I'd read a 1200 page book in the timeframe I listened to it, and I can still read my fantasy at night.Vraith wrote:

So I won't listen to any book that isn't shallow/light/unimportant to me...like I'll listen to classic rock stations as long as I'm just killing time, not hoping for music.
