no idea why this doubled, so i offer a favorite poem from Vachel Lindsay to ease your transition to Avatar's post that follows... enjoy...
Vachel Lindsay - Factory Windows are Always Broken
FACTORY windows are always broken.
Somebody's always throwing bricks,
Somebody's always heaving cinders,
Playing ugly Yahoo tricks.
Factory windows are always broken.
Other windows are let alone.
No one throws through the chapel-window
The bitter, snarling, derisive stone.
Factory windows are always broken.
Something or other is going wrong.
Something is rotten--I think, in Denmark.
End of factory-window song.

Congratulations Wayfiend.
I don't understand why my post count has mostly stopped growing? I visit and read posts everyday
ETA: Oh, Cripes, my keyboard skips letters on me frequently for some reason nowadays. It was not my intention to call Wayfriend a Fiend. Thanks for pointing that out Iolanthe (In just this small paragraph I edited in, I had to fill in 4 missing letters)
ETA Again: make that 5, since I just had to add in the leading "e" of "edited"

I Never Fail To Be Astounded By The Things We Do For Promises - Ronnie James Dio (All The Fools Sailed Away)
Remember, everytime you drag someone through the mud, you're down in the mud with them
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...
It's about learning to dance in the rain
Where are we going...and... WHY are we in a handbasket?

I am playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order!

"People without hope not only don't write novels, but what is more to the point, they don't read them.
They don't take long looks at anything, because they lack the courage.
The way to despair is to refuse to have any kind of experience, and the novel, of course, is a way to have experience."
-Flannery O'Connor
"In spite of much that militates against quietness there are people who still read books. They are the people who keep me going."

Congrats ShadowbindingShoe and to my watchy daughter Shaun who I'm glad to see is not wasting her time on internet forum sites but reading a good old classic like Wuthering Heights instead!
