Just stumbling in for a visit. I'll be lurking in the trees for the most part but figured I'd say hello. I discovered Lord Foul's Bane back in high school and loved it. Glad to find these new works and revisit the Land.

Be Welcome to the Watch, bupaje.

What Av said. There are topics on pretty much anything and everything here on the Watch, way beyond talk only on SRD related topics.

And ooo, another west coaster. We really should plan another 'fest out that way sometime.

Welcome bupaje!

The last mini-fest on the left coast, which Menolly attended about a month and a half ago, was about as close to the Canadian border as you are to the Mexican border. There is also a very active Watch contingent in the northern part of California.

Some of us go years never meeting the people behind the avatars, others develop close real-life friendships. Some focus on SRD's works here, others post predominantly on other topics...or consider themselves "purists" who only play Gravin Threndor games...

As many different options as there are members, really.

Woo! I'm not the newest anymore!
"But a moment later Kasreyn twitched. His limbs shifted. Slowly, stiffly, he climbed to his hands and knees, then to his feet. An instant ago, he had had no pulse: now his heart beat with renewed vigor. Strength flowed back into him. He turned to face the company. He was grinning like a promise of murder."

I am a new member here. I read the 1st and 2nd Chronicles some time ago. I wanted to read the Last Chronicles. But I decided to go back and read the others again before starting. It has been some time since I read them but I am getting familiar with the characters and story again. I came to this forum after checking out a few others and getting bored with their never ending discussions about TC and how he was a criminal instead of a hero. It seems like some of those sites seem to forget that these books are works of fiction and in fiction, anything is possible.

Bienvenido, ElAguila!

Yes, I think you made the right choice with the re-read. Some haven't done so, and then felt it was a mistake.

Hopefully, you can then share with us the things that your 'eagle' eyes have seen.

(And, yeah: what other forums?)
