Be Welcome to the Watch, LZ.
Be Well Come and True.

According to the phoogle, you're close to danlo, who's in Albuquerque. We made a trip out to Valles Caldera (which many of us call Andelain) at the last elohimfest, and I think the one before as well, held at danlo's.

I hope you can make it to the next elohimfest, which will hopefully be next summer!

Looking forward to your posts so we can get to know you before then.

As Avatar is wont to say: "Jump in anywhere."
We have threads on all sorts of topics, not only SRD-oriented ones. You may enjoy the video games forum, where there is a thread on World of Warcraft, among other subjects. If you are in to role playing games, you may also enjoy Gravin Threndor, where we have text based games based on DnD, WoD Vampire: Dark Ages, and the Watch's own deity-themed games.

Hello to everyone, here's what I do...

Post by Lord Zombiac »

Hello, everyone. I'm Coz. I live in New Mexico.
I used to play Punk rock in Austin Texas since 1985, release over 40 complete albums, and worked with world famous performance artist Lisa SUCKDOG.
I read both series of "Thomas Covenant" books when I was a teenager, after being given them by my older brother.
In the late 90's I wrote a published novel in the Sword and Sorcery Genre called "A War of Apes" which closely follows such works of fiction as "Planet of the Apes" and "Conan the Barbarian."

I play a live action Roleplaying game called Amtgard, in which I am a 6th level Barbarian and have achieved the title of "Lord" in my Kingdom.
My full persona name is "Lord Zombiac the Great Ape Reddawn."
I am the leader of our local chapter of Amtgard which is the Shire of Savage Highlands under the Kingdom of Dragonspine.
I have authored and published 14 battlegames in Amtgard.
If you enjoy LARPs and other fantasy related topics, let me encourage you to visit my website and join the discussions there.

I love Lord Foul and look forward to having many conversations about one of my all time favorite works of fiction!

Oh!
No no!

Go in to GT Talk to start a general thread.
The other sub-forums are all the games we are already playing.
But you are welcome to post in the Rules and Comments thread in each one, should any interest you.

I had to look and see that you made other posts before I could tell whether or not this was a real post. So, having decided it's real:

Glowlimn wrote:Hi there guys, I was directed here this evening by someone on my WoW server.

I first read Thomas Covenant 10 years ago at the behest of my high school boyfriend. I gave up halfway through the first book but he pushed me to finish it, and it was almost as if immediately after picking it back up I was hooked. Since then I've read the series several times, and it never gets old.

I'm a bit of a lurker, but I'm known to chime in here and there. It's good to be among people that share my love for this awesome series!
There are a lot of us WoW'ers here on The Scryers - you might want to look at this thread! Welcome!!

That's right Menolly, point the fresh lunatics my way, thanks ever so much, LOL. Yes the first SRD Elohimfest was at my house too.

(btw watched the Gainsville repeat of Extreme Home Makeover last night--pretty cool, didn't see you in the crowd though...)

Yeah, we didn't make it on camera.
But it was cool seeing what we could when we could get through the crowds.

How many incomplete albums did you release?

I have three or four unreleased albums, produced Theo Ezell's "Damned Machine Music" and appear on several compilations. Also had a 7" record with "the Girl Robots." These can all be considered somewhat less than complete albums. A few other bands recorded my music too and I did a little studio work.
Did I make money? Nope.

Well I'm passing through Albuquerque on the way to Lindrith for my wedding. It will be an Amtgard wedding. We are going to wear formal ape garb and a brownie is performing the ceremony. Check out your local Amtgard chapter "Pegasus Valley." You may enjoy the game. Then perhaps you can meet me at an event.

You're not bragging about which instrument you play, so I'm guessing you're the bass player.
