Welcome to the Watch Avellana. People come for the Donaldson, but they stay for the poorly executed humor.
Oh, welcome ingemisco, whom I missed earlier. I don't know where Gemisco is, but it sounds like you enjoy being "in" it.

He's a Brit, but he went to uni in Wales. And is still living there, I gather from Facebook.Menolly wrote:Is Cj Welsh?
Or was he living there to attend school?

Greetings, Avellana. If some chats are what you seek, you may find more than you looked for. About the Gap Cycle in particular for now - Forbidden Knowledge is currently supposed to get dissected in the group readings forums, you may head there and take part.
I have many names... and may play many roles
So that it's clear: I'm not the Lord Foul who was on the Watch before, from 26.10.2002 to 16.06.2012

(And yes, Cj is not actually Welsh luckily. (Mad, the Welsh are. All mad. And the Cornish are bloody odd.

If we're going to be pedantic, it's Ali, Av, Ali, not Alli! Poms? Didn't know you were one of the mythologicals.Avatar wrote:Poms Iolanthe. Poms. Or Brits as Alli said. Welsh/Cornish/whatever you call people from Brittany in France - all original Celts. They were here before any of us angles or saxons or whatever. It's a fascinating subject that doesn't belong here. And I have lots of Welsh step-relatives (same great grandfather, different great grandmother) so I'm keeping quiet.
I am playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order!

We call them that too. Perhaps because SA was on the route to the penal colony...I'm not sure. More than a few immigrants here got their start by escaping from the penal ships. There may even be a rumour that my own paternal line arrived in such a manner.Poms? Didn't know you were one of the mythologicals.

Yep, and only I was born here....so there is just Deer and you from Africa?

Greetings!
And Welcome!
There'll be more folk along soon to say hello. I have to say I wasn't gone on the original Theomach (time travel, bandages and general retcon messing) so I'd be happy to find out that the second iteration (if slightly different in spelling) was more appealing
