Hi,
Long time reader of SRD. (My favorite author).
Started like most I guess with Thomas. Liked how he makes pretty much all of his characters heavily flawed (like real people).
I have read all three of the Thomas Covenant sets, Modants need, and the Gap series (my favorite). Also read his first two short stories sets.
Really loved all of it. Some more than other obviously.
Can't wait for the new stuff

He said all three TC "sets" Av!Avatar wrote: When you say all three TC books, I assume you mean all three series? ('Cause there are 10 TC books over 3 Chronicles.)

Hello NAC

Welcome to the Watch. What about "The Man Who........." books? They are very good detective stories, four in all.
I am playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order!

Welcome to Kevin's Watch, Not-A-Cockroach!
I like that you jumped in on a topic of what you thought about one of the characters from Mordant's Need.
I love it when a fictional character gets to me so much that I just have to say something...

"People without hope not only don't write novels, but what is more to the point, they don't read them.
They don't take long looks at anything, because they lack the courage.
The way to despair is to refuse to have any kind of experience, and the novel, of course, is a way to have experience."

Welcome, NAC! I, for one, am relieved you're not a cockroach, as I hate those things.

If so, I would be more than happy to let someone else be in charge of giving it to them. Ick.
