Sign up for Brinn's 2nd Annual KW Hold 'Em Tourney

Post by [Syl] »

Check out this thread for the details. All are welcome to play, even complete beginners.

The game will be No Limit Texas Hold 'Em. We play on pokerstars.com (it's free). Since I don't think there's a way to play a private tourney on pokerstars.net, you'll probably have to be 18 (or is it 21?) or older. No date is set yet.

Any questions, you can post them here or PM me. Or if you do a search for player, my nick on PS is Djak_Frost. I've got plenty of fake chips if you want some to practice with.

Is that real money you would play for?
Or imaginary stuff?
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.

My understanding of the private tourneys on PS is that they are played for real money. Since it's a tourney, it would only be a small buy-in.

What Brinn offered last time, and I'm willing to offer this time, is sponsorship of anyone who wants to play, but doesn't want to open a real money account. Again, read the thread to see how this is done.

Let's give everyone until friday Jul 14th to indicate their interest. On the 14th we'll take inventory and see who's in and begin to establish a date that works for all participants. Sound good?

Well, the deadline's passed. When should we do it? I'm free Fri and Sat night (July 21st and 22nd)... though just about any night after 8 pm Eastern is workable.

Friday Night the 21st it is...

The Tournament is on Pokerstars.com and can be found on the "Tourney" Tab under "Private". It is scheduled for 9:00 PM EST and is titled "Kevin's Watch 2nd Annual NL Tournament". The Password is "whitegold".

If you wish to play and don't have the $11 for the entry fee please let me know either by PM or through a post on this thread and I'll transfer the money to you. In order to transfer the money I need to know your exact screen name.

See everyone on Friday night at 9:00 PM EST. (or at least Dlb and Syl!)

P.S.

Luci,

There's no way I can set it up so that you can observe. Sorry. But it's a good excuse to play...Get your butt in there and play!

Seems to me that with the password you should be able to log in and observe the table, if you decide that you don't want to play.
