Indian isn't a language... the official language of India is English, is it not? So, you have to find out which of the 100+ subcontinent dialects it is, and then go looking for a translation.

Are you sure it isn't a list of names?

If it is an Indian dialect, I have two former neighbors from Village Housing I have emailed it to, one being my former boss. No guarantees they will recognize the dialect, but it's a start.

I read the thread the post itself is in. Perhaps it is a prayer of some sort...

I think English is one of the official languages, but Hindi is the most commonly spoken. I think the dialect varies quite significanlty by region too.

it'd be nice to talk to the person who posted that on an Indian message board, heh.

close as I could get with a Telugu translator:
1. Thoolaa, Thooli: (page 216)

Thuwwumanu v.i. class. (of the heart) to beat fast, tremble.

Theewa
Theewa n. class. 1 beauty. 2 manner.

Thoolaa, Thooli
, Thoolaa, Thooli same as Toolaa, Tooli.
tremble. heh. heh heh heh. :P

I just said it out loud. My dogs both burst into flame, every vertical surface in my home turned black, every horizontal surface started dripping blood, and the clouds outside are swirling around in some sort of vortex, and I appear to be turning into a demon of some sort.

DLB, can you prescribe me some sort of salve for this?

That's what I wanted to say. My understanding is that the dialects can vary so much that they don't understand each other.

I am betting it's Hindi and/or a list of names.
