Vains Command
Did covenant make his best use of the one command he gave vain?
He could have commanded vain to take him to the heart of melenkurion skywier or anything so i cant help but feel that covenant, like Elena wasted his 1 turn at having power of command.

What yould you command vain to do if he was gonna be your genee

Way I read it... Covenant panicked and used the command when running like hell would've sufficed.
What I would've done if I had Vain? Depends upon the situation. I mean ripping attacker's faces off was pretty cool. That'd be something to see in the proposed movie wouldn't it..
Vain's command would've been useful in so many situations. Problem was I think TC (or any of us) knew exactly what all Vain was capable of. So without that knowledge... application of Vain's capabilities would be a waste.

could he refuse to obey it?
he was programmed to obey one command .. so presumably no matter what it was .. he was bound to obey it.
but not if it was kill LA cos that would cause programme conflict and force him to explode

I doubt he could refuse to obey, but he COULD fail to carry out an order. I keenly remember one moment where he needed help to survive ... umm oh yeah getting out of Elemesnedene with Elohim chucking stuff at him, and something about him using two Bloodguard to hoist him somewhere.
So he'd try ... he might fail, but he'd try.

Do you think I like being this dangerous?
