So is there a way to, um, hide avatars/signatures?

The other couple of forums I post on have an option that you can select so that people's avatars and signatures don't show up when you're looking at threads, which I've found kind of handy in the interests of subtlety. I couldn't see one on this forum but maybe I'm just being blind.

Weird...I thought there was an option, but there doesn't seem to be. Must be thinking of the Hangar.

A possible solution is just to tell your browser not to display images...

I prefer the "Become a Moderator, visit only the Forums you moderate, and delete all posts by the offending Avatars" method.
