How did Noah fit all the Animals on the ark part II

Sirs/Madames- please continue with the discussion. I am off to find the exact measurements of the ark in my NIV BIBLE. I am sad to say, I did not know there were such a thing I have only been studying sripture in depth for 5 years though. It grows and slows on you GOD is good when you have the all togetherness to see it

Of course the water rose due to mad made global warming in the first place so the real trick is to understand that Noah lived in a time of unimaginable future technology and science and Al gore was President.

Crazy idea, Vain! Sorta happened on Star Trek: The Next Generation. The ancient Klingon founder was prophesied to return at a particular place, a moon or something, and a priesthood was based there. One day, sure enough, he returned.

That or the Flood Story and the Ark are much smaller and more localized than is implied in Genesis. Flood Stories are frequent themes in various mythologies. Likely deriving from glacial floods experienced by many early humans as the latest Ice Age ended. Therefore, something, like the story of Noah and the flood may have actually happened, but not on a global scale.

Most of the religions we're familiar with in the western world have their deepest roots in ancient mesopotamia, where one of the world's earliest agricultural civilisations (Sumer) formed in the flood plains of the Tigris and Euphrates. Floods were large a part of life for those first civilisations, and so floods featured prominently in local mythology.

The Sumerian flood story bears very strong similarities to the later story in the Hebrew bible - the gods choose to allow humanity to perish in a great flood, but Enki, learning of this, chooses to warn the king and instructs him to build a great ship, on which he survives the flood and is afterward rewarded by the gods for preserving mankind and the animals.

Here's what I've been thinking, BBF, and it might even jive with your taking the bible literally.

The bible said God wanted to flood the world, right? The reason was to wipe out the wicked human race, correct? Now, this was within the first couple thousand years I think, I had calculated ages before, but that was years ago). Now, the Earth is a big place, it could be that humans did not cover it in its entirety. As a result, God would only have to flood the world of man. Not the entire Earth. As a result, only the animals that would become extinct due to the flooding of the world of man need be saved. This could possibly reduce the number of animals to something more manageable.

Could I have a video of the construction of the Ark? And the fitting of every species (especially the insects) onto the Ark? Because then I'd believe.

Harbinger's posts all bear the "graveler" tag, yet you persist in this "good sir or madame" routine like you can't tell whether you are addressing a male or a female.

While the Watch has a gracious concierge (whom you have yet to encounter, apparently) who has almost unlimited patience in helping and educating users, that is not an attribute of many of the rest of us. I've given you the benefit of the doubt heretofore...but pay attention and use the lessons offered by those who are striving to give you a chance and not attack you for your mis-steps...or risk that even the tolerant assess you to be a troll.

To be fair--not all have their gender listed. Heck; I didn't even realize what that thing meant until you mentioned it. I think BBF just likes to say it for saying it, but if he's honestly not recognizing your gender when you bluntly tell him, then he's out of line. Bottom Feeder? Come on.
