A Fairer Foul

Post by Worm of Despite »

I've just noticed... I've been the same username on KW for, like, 8 years. Sure, some folks never change, and I suppose you shouldn't fix it if it's not broken, but I've always felt there surely must be something a bit more catchy than my current persona.

I'm not all that Foul, and for a poet/writer I always felt it was a bit unoriginal to just straight jack another author's creation.

Suggestions for the new me? Feel free to be of no help and just give me a name you know I wouldn't like. :P

At the very least your suggestions will spur me to create something better. :P

Also--whatever happened to the ability to color-code our names and all that fun stuff? Bah.

Well...

Laureate

{Cuz "Fair is Foul, and Foul is Fair" wrote W.S., and you're a poet, too...ever won a Watchie? Cuz then you'd have been Crowned [whether with laurel or not don't matter metaphorically...and there's that "Lord" thing...}

Just sayin...

the difference between evidence and sources: whether they come from the horse's mouth or a horse's ass.
"Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation."
the hyperbole is a beauty...for we are then allowed to say a little more than the truth...and language is more efficient when it goes beyond reality than when it stops short of it.

You can become the Lord Gaga to my Waddley Gaga. It's ok to want it, you were born that way.

"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

It wasn't my first choice, but 'Tim' was already suggested.

Okay, maybe it was my first choice.

Hahaha, I didn't even notice you'd changed it.

Foul...I like the existing one. Sometimes one should have a little consistency. ;)

Hey watch it with the GaGa! That was my grandma Helen's nick name: she was the world's coolest lady and the main reason I never turned to the dark side. Smoked 5 Kents and drank 2 glasses of Bellow's Reserve with water everyday until the day she died. (say you want to see her picture at Elohimfest and you win a prize! :P...or phenomenal karma points...)

Whatever. It's not the same thing, despite what Foul said.
wikipedia wrote:The Dagda (sometimes written with no definitive article; Proto-Celtic: Dagodeiwos; Old Irish: dag dia; Irish: Daghdha, pronounced in Munster Irish [dai] "good god") is an important god of Irish mythology. The Dagda is a father-figure (he is also known as Eochaid Ollathair, or "All-father") and a protector of the tribe. In some texts his father is Elatha, in others his mother is Ethlinn.
