Julie, I know it has been a couple months since you responded to the news about Dam-et with assurance of your prayers. Yours and the prayers of others have been having the desired effect.
After going into the hospital in late March, he came home a-month-to-the-day later after the first round of chemo. While supposedly in remission, he still has a long row to hoe. He went back for a second round a couple weeks later, was sent home after it was administered...but was readmitted a week ago with low white cell and platelet counts, fever and headache. Came home last night again and has two-and-a-half weeks before round three. Still two more rounds after that...then he should be able to go back to University in Winter 2014.
As for Dam-sel, Menolly and me, we are dealing day by day. Some are better than others. Tomorrow is the one year anniversary of Menolly telling Hyperception she was staying here. Still happy this is so! Apart from how I feel about her (as you well know), she has been an important anchor keeping things together for all of us these past trying months.
Everything is for a reason...
