Based on Neil Gaiman's book. It's pretty good, but it seems every episode has very slow parts throughout, and I tend to nod off. But I usually love the "Somewhere In America" sequences.
I wasn't a huge fan of the book, but it definitely had its moments. It just seemed like the narrative wasn't especially tight in much the same way as early Clive Barker. The show has an amazing amount of recognizable people though, some of which are dead within a minute.
Still, I would recommend this show. I just wanted it to be better and tighter than the book, but it has its own way of meandering.

Life is a waste of time
Time is a waste of life
So get wasted all of the time
And you'll have the time of your life
