UFO's

Post by balon! »

I'm not normally a UFO guy, but has anyone seen the latest from the USA Navy? (I think?) just declassified a 2015 encounter with a totally bizarre craft. I'm not convinced it isn't someones super advanced drone, but it's compelling at least that it's not a drunken shaky cell phone video, I mean an F-18 videofeed is pretty legit to me.

here's a good clip video with an interview

Of course, we can't actually see anything in that video... :D

Personally I'm a sceptic, but there's always a chance. :D

Because of our limited scientific understanding its very comfortable for humans to assume that if we can't do it no one can.
So typical for us to think of ourselves as the ultimate in evolutionary biology and place ourselves at the absolute top of the pecking order in the universe.
I don't have any way to prove we have been visited by beings from another world but I am confident that in this vast universe we are far from the most impressive civilization.
We can barely send robotic probes to our neighboring planets nevermind reaching out to the nearest stars.
Just imagine what our scientific knowledge would be like if we weren't murdering each other and we were able to not only pool the resources of the world but dedicate 100% of our efforts toward discovery instead of marvels like reality tv and Facebook.

Just saying. :-)

:LOLS:

Thats not the source of my skepticism.. I definitely dont think humans are all that .. I agree humans do have a tendency to anthropocentrism.. I absolutely think there is life in other universes, presumably even this universe.

My skepticism arises from the numerous false sightings, the alien tourist trek in the US and possibly elsewhere, and what seems like alien groupie movements everywhere.

This was US Navy footage .. and I havent seen it.

It's clearly a probe that was sent to check on the whales.

Nah, it's probably terrestrial. Probably somebody else's classified something-or-other - the question is, was it a test to see what we'd do, or were we not meant to see it? That will probably never be answered. (Or if anyone does know, it's probably classified.)

Oh, a change is coming, feel these doors now closing
Is there no world for tomorrow, if we wait for today?

It's not that life out there is unlikely. What's unlikely, in the incomprehensible vastness of the universe, is that we ever encounter any of it. :D

In all my time on this planet I have never seen a UFO...
I guess the only way I would believe if they stopped over my house
came down and danced the Merengue on my front lawn.
Then I might think something different.
Considering I live within 3 miles (That almost 5 KM to you metric peeps)
of the original Hanger 18. No sight or sound has been heard.
You think them so call fellows would want their shet back...
What's this silver looking ring doing on my finger?
