How do you think you'll die?
This thread is kinda fun (in a very morbid way, I must admit). So, how do you think you'll kick the bucket? Personally, I'll be surprised if I make it past the heart attack I plan on having at age 42. My friend Seth has roughly 5 years and 2 months before he expires in a car wreck (you can ask him, he'll tell you so).

Brain aneurism. Runs in the family.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Hey that was my plan to. Only I had planned to be captured by the Russians and forced to design killer robot drones for war. But then I would eventually break out and then do the robot thingy.

Kind of reminds me of the Richard Prior bit where he mentions a man who died while making love. He then said, "Now if everyone here had a choice, would you go like that or die getting hit by a bus? I'd be in that long m************ line!"

Congestive heart failure, most likely.
Most guys want to die like Ghengis Khan, but not me.
I'd rather die suddenly and painlessly.

cheval's answer sums it up for me as well.
Members here who are fortunate to have (the proverbial) loving family may find that answer incomprehensible, but it needs to be understood that there must be a respectable number of loners and misfits (outcast unclean!) here at the Watch who, when they die, likely won't be surrounded by attentive, loving ones. That's life.
How do I want to die? Without pain, and at a time and place of my choosing. Also, it would be nice to die knowing I had accomplished something meaningful in my life, defined by me as meaningful, not by people who just want to make me feel better.
How do I think I'll die? With some degree of pain, and likely not at an ideal time of my choosing. And I could die without achieving what I want to achieve in my life.
Sound depressing? Well, I can hope for some sense of solitary dignity in my passing. Dying alone, I can pretend I'm an Unfettered One: unloved and unmourned perhaps, but at the same time free of clutter in his life.
