LF's coolest name?

Post by Worm of Despite »

All right, it's self-explanatory! The winner, mind you, will most likely earn a place under my name when I change my title. 8) Please let me know if I left any out!

Despite the fact that I felt the name "a-Jeroth of the Seven Hells" was never explained that well, I think it is by far the coolest. Sounds kind of like Asteroth, one of the kings of Hell, IIRC.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

I myself voted for a-Jeroth, but what's a Foul to do when he gets outvoted? Looks like it'll be "Corruption" at this rate. Which is not to say I don't like it! Doesn't really matter to me... Even if "Maker" got voted #1-- :x damn those things! Why did I make them? They helped the groveler!

Oh, and as far as the best name that has come out of everybody's favorite 10th level of Hell, I'd say Cerberus is the coolest name I've ever heard. I think that cyclopes-thing that guarded Foul's Creche was modeled after our favorite three-headed dog! But actually, there's a cooler name than Cerberus, but I'm not giving it away cause I made it! Neener-neener-neener! :|

"Soulcrusher" is making a run for the wire!

Just sounds the meanest to me!
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. I'd vote for Grey Slayer if it would let me vote as well......then again....I fixed it :) If you want a ballot/vote to run indefinitely then set the days to run as 0 or leave blank :)

Corruption is wonderful in it's simplicity, but a-Jeroth just sounds so damn evil.

Fangthane
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.

Full of the heavens and time.

I went a-jeroth myself. I don't really like coruption as a name..it's more of a state of mind.
I thought you were a ripe grape
a cabernet sauvignon
a bottle in the cellar
the kind you keep for a really long time

The Despiser

It's short, it's succinct, it sums up Lord Foul's outlook on everyone and everything. Plus the word even has a kind of spitting, contemptuous sound to it if you say it with hate in your voice.

Aah, it's a toss-up between Satansheart Soulcrusher and Fangthane the Render for me.

a-jeroth of the seven hells gets my vote.

To me, it kinda sounds like something out of an Arabian culture.
