It has begun
For most of you, what I have to say will be cryptic; so, apologies. The last two years (well almost) I have been posting ancillary documents, called Xenopaedias, about my sci-fi setting. Due to the interest and positive comments, I continued to write more. (As of yesterday, I deleted them due to a great concern that my ideas would be stolen.)
I digress. Several years ago I hit upon an idea for a very short novel. I loved the idea so much I kept it in my head and it formed the basis for one of my Xenopaedias. Instead of writing my four part series, as it is too difficult for me to attempt at this moment (I am not a good enough writer for something so epic), I will be writing the novel I had thought of seven years ago.
The first purpose of this post is to state I am starting a novel any week now. Second, I would like to give heartfelt thanks Hierachy (who was the first to read the first entry), Covenant Jr (who renewed interest in them), Baradakas, Creator, Seareach (for her wonderful criticisms), Avatar (for finally agreeing with me), Sgt Null/DennisRWood, and anyone else who read them. You are the reason they exist, and probably why I am planning on the big novels. Finally, I should finish the novel sometime middle next year. I would like some people to proofread the finished work (who have such experience) - I will pay each of you a week's wage to do so.

cool, just remeber to publish it under the name of Lormaster so i know its your book when i see it.

But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.
Full of the heavens and time.

Sounds pretty cool. Looking forward to the finished product!

That's fantastic news, Loremaster! You'd better not give up on the epic though - I have too much anticipation for you to let it go

Ditto. I wouldn't take payment for such a privilege. On the other hand, I have no proof reading experience, so I'd be precious little use to you. Probably best to wait til it's done...Avatar wrote:And if you'd like my proofreading skills when you're done, they're free.
I also deleted all of mine yesterdayLoremaster wrote:As of yesterday, I deleted them due to a great concern that my ideas would be stolen

Can't wait to read it. If it's half as good as your posts, it'll be better than 90% of the books out there.
