I voted no. I can't stomach the WWE/WWF or any others that I don;t even know about. BTW--Is Vince McMahon still in the PW picture?
The WWE is another "professional wrestling" asociation. You know-- sports version of Jim Bakker.
Umm, on second thought, a WWE forum is OK, I just don't have to go there.

"Carrion, my wayward son."
"Will there be pieces when you are done?"

Yeah, but we don't have cool nicknames like pro wrestlers.

I don't know, I think that Cail and Plissken (and Avatar, and Duchess, and...)make pretty damned cool wrasslin' names. (Of course, I didn't know what the WWE was - thought it was the WWF, for some reason - so what do I know?)

No, the World Wildlife Foundation sued them over the name.
Seriously.

Which is why I've vowed never to support the world wildlife fund. They only did it for the publicity they'd get from the case, they were jealous that every immediately thought of wrestling whenever someone said WWF.

I seem to recall hearing that the bonobo-chimps is one of the only animals that engages in sex just for the fun of it
Funny how we see things differently. On the rare occasion that wrestling has been on danish TV, I always used to think of the World Wildlife Fund, when the WWF logo was shown. Instantly I started imagining wrestling bouts between cuddly pandas and gorillas!
So they sued? Jeez, that's the most stupid thing I heard since Mcdonalds sued a danish one man hotdog stand called "MacAllan". They lost by the way.

"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”
