Celestial Uncertainty

[The first chapter of my book has been significantly revised, so I'm deleting this older version. Maybe I'll post the newer (better) version when I have time. Or maybe you'll just have to wait until it's published! :D ]

Does it really suck that bad? I mean, if it does, tell me! Don't just read a little and then go away. This is Malik23, the brash, opinionated SOB who disrupts so many debates with his brutal honesty. Give it right back to me! Be brutal. What didn't work about this first chapter? Was it just boring in general? That's a cop-out. Be specific.

I can make some arugments that this is a perfect intro into the characters and themes with which I'm dealing. But you may not see that at this stage and think it's just trash. Say so! Let's have a debate. Anything is better than this damned silence from other members of a group who supposedly loves good fantasy.

Ok, now my Ambien is kicking in, so I've got to go to bed and just pray (well, not actually) that I've made some sense here tonight. Goodnight all.

Personally, I just haven't had the time to sit down and read it yet.

I'll get there. ;)

You'll find that happens a lot. It's a quirk of the Hall that a lot of people won't read it, a lot who do and dislike it won't want to say so, and a lot who like it will remain mysteriously silent. I know of at least two people who've really liked things I've posted and never said so in puvlic.

Personally, I have Avatar's syndrome. Other things to do right now
