Things You Hope You Never Hear Again

Post by duchess of malfi »

My nomination for one of the worst albums of all time:
www.geocities.com/TheTropics/9325/patmetal.html

I had (blessedly) forgotten about it, until a few nights ago when a couple of people asked me the names of Pat Boone songs. I have had the misfortune to hear some of the tracks, and they were...not good.

Note: this is not an attack on Pat Boone. I just did not enjoy this particular album by him.

Does anyone else have something they just hope that they never hear again?
Love as thou wilt.

Anything by Leo Sayer, Night Ranger, Loverboy or Nick Gilder. Sounds like a soundtrack from hell: if you played Sister Christian, Working for the Weekend and Hot Child in the City back to back I think I'd curl up in the fetal position, puke and die... :P
fall far and well Pilots!

i hope, so profoundly, never to hear Steve Perry or Geddy Lee sing again that i'd PAY someone to sever both their vocal cords!!!

I would rather hear Geddy Lee sing than look at him.

Any of that touchy-feely crap from the '70s. "I Wanna Make It With You" being a perfect example.

8O That was his best!

I hope to never hear Kylie Minogue again - her voice is terrible.

Almost anything said in this thread; Loremaster's defense of Mr. Collins notwithstanding.

Tell me if she laughs or cries
Blow away dandelion

I'm afraid there's no denying
I'm just a dandelion
a fate I don't deserve.

GNR's cover of Nazareth's Hair of the Dog.

One of the worst covers ever.

Baby I Love Your Way/Freebird Medely by Will To Power. If you have never seen/heard this on VH1, then thank your lucky stars. Unfortunately, I was not so lucky. Trust me, it's the worst cover...ever!

There are too many horrible songs out there to list ---
"Tell me whyyy-eee, ain't nuthin' but a heartache" pops into mind immediately.

The Night Chicago Died.

Billy Don't Be A Hero.

"Wimoweh a Wimoweh a Wimoweh a Wimoweh."

Shannon.

Run Joey Run.

"Rocky I never had to die before".

My Woman, My Woman, My Wife.

Worst ever winner(?) - I've Been To Paradise But I've Never Been To Me
