Heh. I apologize for disabling the board for the last hour or so, but I wanted to make sure nothing screwed up when I updated the Watch.

But yeah...I installed the sub-forums feature. Took me a damn while, too, so you all better like it. Heh.

I'm open to suggestions for how we should organize the Watch. I basically just set it up to how we had it before, but I'm flexible and open to new ideas. So let me know what you think.

If the layout of the sub-forums bothers you, let me know, and maybe I'll be able to play around with it. I'm getting better at hacking the message board code, heh.

Yay. Heh. :ct03: -jay

Oh, and if the Watch blows up at all because I messed up the hack, feel free to let me know about that too. Heh.

Interesting, though I'm sad to see my Wolfe forum go (it's even been fairly active the last couple of weeks).
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Sorry about that, Syl. I would have kept it, but I blame my OCD. I was getting a little trigger happy when I was modifying the forum list. But you can still keep a topic somewhere devoted to Wolfe, for people to talk about him. If it's a problem, and there is a lot of interest, I can make the forum again.-jay

Nah, I don't think the Watch will suffer much as a result. I'll link a few topics in my sig (speaking of which... could you relax the restrictions on sig length? Mine will take up no more room than some peoples' banner sigs).

Good, though I wouldn't mind more.

Glad to see the sub-forums back, and I definitely think the direct links to each individual forum is an improvement.

I like it. But better. It makes the forum look much tidier.

Not bad at all, although I'm sorry to see the loss of a couple of forums. *sniff*

Less scrolling at least. ;)

Nice job Jay. :D

Well, I can always add new forums. Just suggest something.

I've played around with it some more, and it now meets my OCD standards. For now... Heh.-jay

I have a few forum suggestions. But I'll tell you them another time. I'm too tired. I've now been up 45 hours straight... is that Gandhi looking at me?

The only bad thing I see is that I can't tell if someone has posted in either Flicks or Vespers without going into the sub-forums, which isn't really a big deal, seeing as how I'll be banned as soon as Jay and Quentin Tarantino finish the script for 'Ban dAN'....

Just look at the little "page" icon next to the name of each sub-forum on the main index...if it's orange, there is a new post in that forum.
