I remember being really p***** off when a game was rated a '15' and i couldnt buy it at 14.
Quite frankly i know that any amount of violent video games are not going to turn me into a physco.
However, id agree with the parent buying the game. If she understands the game is violent and still lets her son play, then fine by me.

Uh...it's a tough one actually. On the whole, I agree with WarMark. I don't think games make people violent or psychotic...indeed, I find it quite cathartic to load up GTA, get onto a high building, and unlimber my sniper rifle for some head-shots. It may in fact stop me from trying it out in real life.
On the other hand, responsible parenting and all that...but really now...who obeyed age restrictions as a kid?
