I actually just mentioned this in the thread asking about the Wormof the World's end and why Foul did not rouse the Worm himself. If the Arch of Time preserves the Law of Time which says that an action, once done, cannot be undone, then if the Arch is destroyed, would the Creator or Covenant or whoe...

When they go back to Revelstone after the Search Glimmermere is still there as Covenant shows it to Linden and this time Covenant is reflected (remember previously it never reflected mere mortals). I believe there was also a comment saying that the waters would not be affected immediately by the Sun...

If the Law of Time says that no act can be undone, If the Arch of time was broken would it then be possible to undo the act which made Foul become trapped in the Earth in the first place and in effect stop the Earth being destroyed? Or is this all those time-paradox stuff which will make my head exp...

Thanks for moving this! Joan is kind of a Creator/Despiser all in one. She wanted her creation (the marriage and all that came with it) to be perfect and when it turned out it was flawed (the leprosy) she walked out (as opposed to the actual Creator who metaphorically did the same thing by sealing t...

Was the fact that Joan chose the rings significant?
Again, sorry if someone has already covered this. I'm not sure if this should even be in this thread or in Runes, but does the fact that Joan was the one who wanted the white gold rings have any significance? obviously we know in Runes she is also a white gold wielder and can affect the Land with th...

To be honest I was much more disturbed by the Elena/Covenant relationship than by the rape itself. I know it has been said over and over that they hadnt known each other as father and daughter etc etc but that isn't really the point. The rape was a terrible thing and had many consequences over the y...

I actually read my brother's copy of LFB after he had finished with it and between us we started buying the rest of the books. he gave up after TPTP though and said he wasn't interested in reading it anymore. I suppose at least he made it to the end of the 1st chrons. I think after that he got more ...

I think the 'betrayal' of Foul came from the fact that he believed he had won. he believed Covenant was finally giving him what he wanted because he had bettered him, but Covenant fooled him, which I guess could be called a betrayal. Perhaps suggesting somone else was betrayed means that Covenant's ...

In answer to the bit about the Forestal, he did indeed destroy the stone. Mhoram asks what became of the stone after Caeroill Wildwood killed the Giant and he said 'It was a great evil - I have destrpyed it'. I would say it is reasonable to assume other shards are littered about the Land. I don't re...
