Really cool WF. Makes me want to start all over again. Not yet tho :) Whatever may befall her, I will endeavor to prove that I am equal to my fears. What are his fears? Not sure after reading whole thread if you spoke to that. Is he saying he will endeavor to grieve? peter, the Haruchai were lost? H...

Stave smiled. Awesome! Love the story of the Haruchai in these Chronicles. You spend most of them getting pissed, though I can see where they're coming from. But who else goes through such a change than this group? I'm glad the last 4 books were just as good as originals. Great job SRD. Now I can go...

I haven't read through this thread yet. I've re-read the first 2 Chronicles (for I think the 4th time), and remembered how much I love them. Particularly struck by the Giants this time thru, just love them as a group. So sad when you get to the end, it's over! Started RotE week or so ago. I think I ...

I didn't think the game was bad. Broncos' defense one of best of all time. Steelers, Pats, Panthers - 3 of top 5 scoring offenses in NFL this year. Avg 13/game over those 3 playoff games. Not many defenses can claim that. Miller may have had best SB for defensive player ever, just could not be conta...

Was at indoor water park Sun, only saw 4th quarter of Pats game, and 2nd quarter, early 3rd of Panthers. Yes, missed XP hurt Pats. But no FG w/6 mins left and 3 TOs? Not like the Broncos were going up and down the field all game. Big mistake. Then he even had a chance to make up for it, FG w/2:25 le...

Chiefs hung tight. Was a good game. Maybe different story if Pats don't have so many drops early in game. Another crazy Sat nite game. Are you kidding me? That was insane. How do Cardinals give up TWO hail mary's? Then Fitz takes over, luv that guy. But Palmer was a mess, he better improve or Panthe...

Unlike Walsh did for Minn. that was Heartbreaker. Then the Skins forgot how to play defense after 1st quarter. Along w/Texans, they proved those 2 divisions suck (they were the only games that didn't come down to the end). Pats startin to look up, Edelman healthy, hopefully the line is stable. Nasty...

How bout dem Bengals. Talk about stability, Marvin Lewis somehow still has a job. Not only not getting it done in playoffs, but last night a reminder of the nutjobs that wind up on his teams. Totally lost only b/c of idiots. Especially Jones. How you get a 15 yarder after 5 mins or so of waiting aro...

Man, how do you call this year? And, IMHO, what we know now is useless anyway. Tempted to use this weeks games to imagine the future, but throw it all out, it really doesn't matter. Maybe trends are important, which means watch out for Seahawks, Chiefs and Steelers, and sorry Packers, Pats and Benga...

Can't believe I forgot about this thread. Chip Kelly, gone. Blindsided there. Don't think many saw that coming. Before end of season even. Don't feel much for the guy, this year was bad, nothing really to build on. Hoping Pats OL can get healthy. And Edelman. They'll be back if so, esp w/Broncos and...

Agreed about Buffalo. Their defense was looking very good, that's all Ryan knows. They need QB play, and his record there is terrible. Who thought it was a good idea? More about Brady . Considering the length of his career, winning championships 13 years apart, well over other greats (Montana 9 year...

Agree w/cail, that pass call was terrible. Hindsight of course, but it was rare that Lynch didn't run for positive yards, even if only 1 or 2. You're on 1, 2nd down, TO in hand, no brainer, run him again, or Wilson on sneak or some read-option. That's who they are. Trying to get cute? Gave it away. ...

Haha, the stats overwhelm you. Here's something about Wilson: Head to head, Wilson is 3-0 against Aaron Rodgers, 2-0 against Peyton Manning, Eli Manning and Drew Brees, and 1-0 against Tom Brady. Average scores in those 10 games: Seattle 29, Foes 15. Wilson’s touchdown-to-interception differential i...

I think your statement there says more about Colts than Pats. Also, some teams just don't match up well against other teams, or have their number, for whatever reasons. That's why I was nervous about Baltimore, but felt good about Indy. And the meat grinder division can help teams, I've heard from t...
