I was just reading this and thought to myself. "What would actually need to be manacled to protect the land?" All the names already mentioned came to mind, but one wasn't mentioned which surprised me. I thought for sure I was gonna read that someone thought they were meant for the Worm of ...

First of all I would like to thank you all for the..."helpful" advice. To all the people that actually care about my situation, I have some good news. She does still like me, she was just having some personal problems that I don't really want to talk about here. I still have a lot of work ...

Starting Covenant themed guild in World of Warcraft

Hey everyone out there on Kevins watch. Everyone out there into World of Warcraft should know that my friend and I are gonna try and start a Covenant themed guild called, "Ritual of Desecration." We plan on doing the hardest raids in the game at some point and need plenty of support. This ...

I agree with Ur Dead: OK the most unsettling part of the Chronicles.. The last page in the last book. It means it all at a end.. His reaction to what had just happened made me think oh f**k. Donaldson set it up so that anything could have happened at the end, and even though it was unsettling, I'm g...

Wow, thanks for the advice. :D It is summer vacation and the idea of getting away from her is intriguing. First of all, do you think that the summer is long enough? Second I'm taking a lot of Advanced Placement courses, and so is she, which means we are pretty much guaranteed to be in a lot of each ...

Runes of the Earth reminded me too much of Lord Fouls bane. I expect some introductory stuff whenever a start a series, but i don't like having to deal with it twice, but FR was soooo worth it. SRD did do a great job in TWL by including Sunder to basically answer questions, but in RoTE not...

You can all chose to criticise Linden Avery about her obsession with Covenant, but here we all know that Covenant is a fictional character, and still there is an entire forum with tons of members to discuss every intricacy of the books. :) Imagine how much more impressive Covenant would have been in...

I am a little tired about reading the last chronicals of Thomas Covenant because of its focus on Linden, but it's not that I dislike her, she just pales in comparison to Covenant. Some parts of the last chronicals are great, but others are kind of disappointing, but I think SRD can still redeem hims...

Obviously the White Gold in my name is a reference to Covenant. Ark on the other hand is my initials. White Gold Ark happens to be my Screen Name just about everywhere. :D

Hi, i just joined recently, i've already read all the covenant books so far...and can't wait for Against all things ending. I got my friend started on them earlier this year, and he already got to WGW. He isn't that big of a fan of Linden, so I'm not sure what he will think of the Last Chr...

I am a virgin, but i'm not to concerned with that because i'm still in high school and have plenty of time :D What i do need though is some advice on relationships in general. I heard the phrase that girls like guys that are jerks, and i was skeptical. I tried it on this one girl and she seemed to l...

I just started playing tower defense games too, and yes they are difficult. None of them are really impossible though, except the ones programed to last forever :D , but you must admit they are some of the most addicting games out there. If you can't beat any of them that means you are doing somethi...

favorite quotation

This is my first post on the forum :D The Nom scenes are pretty intense, but another quotation I like is from FR. There is a part describing Thomas Covenant, "He is no more human than the stars: a being of such illimitable loneliness and grandeur that he both defies and deifies understanding.&q...
