Welcome. Alan, also known as Colocally!
I love the Chronicles, and they were the first Donaldson books, I ever read, back in the early 1980s. But I have come to love later Donaldson works, such as Mordant's Need and the Gap, even more. And I also have enjoyed the Last Chronicles, and recommend them. Here's hoping you'll feel free to comment away on the Watch!

Since rejoining Kevinswatch in May 2018 there have been 23 posts from new members. Not including mine, of course.Menolly wrote:

Not that I'm discouraging you from doing so, Luke. I think doing so unprompted is awesome. I'm just stating an observation.
Let's hope zarathustra3 has a little more to say than the others

I figured it was something like that when I saw the zar3 name.Avatar wrote:Haha, Z changed his email address, and his account deactivated. He created that to PM me to ask me to re-activate it.

you're more advanced than a cockroach,
have you ever tried explaining yourself

i've had this with actors before, on the set,
where they get upset about the [size of my]
trailer, and i'm always like...take my trailer,
cause... i'm from Kentucky
and that's not what we brag about.

Hello time!
Having been greeted as a new FB member on the "Thomas Covenant Discussion Board", Don made sure to direct me here. Menolly and Skyweir were also sure to drop their names , so that's an excuse to give you mine here. Having ruminated on potentials for no small amount of time, I couldn't justify attempting to take a known name, so I decided to become "LandFriend" here. Pleased to meet you all!

Welcome to the Watch, LandFriend! While I often will greet Watchers by their initials (just as many call me SD), I suppose yours might be misinterpreted as a reference to one who is no friend of the Land.
May you thrive here and contribute.

<waves> Not a new member, but this is my first time back on the Watch after a shameful number of Sunbane cycles. Thought I'd say Hi here, instead of nudge-spamming every single other thread on the Watch.
