Destruction of Alderaan. Honestly, after watching Jedi, they shoulda destroyed Endor, not Alderaan.

I think it was more that Leia was just short. She only came up to Hans shoulder, was a fair bit shorter than Luke and wasn't much taller than the Ewoks.

Darth Maul vs. Qui-Gon & Obi-Wan. And I've said it before, it was even better in the book. Much better. *whew*

I also like:

Yup, it doesn't get much better than that.

Leia: You came in that thing? You're braver than I thought!
Han: Nice

Blasting Greedo then to the bartender...
Han: Sorry about the mess.

Threepio: I don't know what the trouble is all about, but I'm sure it must all be your fault.
R2D2: BEEP! (easily translated into Screw you!)
Threepio: You watch your language!
------------
R2D2: Beep, beep ba beep?
Threepio: No, I'm sure he doesn't like you at all.
R2D2: Beep boop?
Threepio: No, I don't like you either

Afraid I have to disagree with you there Darth. Why not? After all, the original actors are still alive, and then we could have Prequel, Original and Sequel, with the added realism that time has passed for the actors, as well as the characters.

I'm sure Lucas has another ten years and three movies left in him. I think it'd be great to have sequels, and see the resurrection of the Jedi. The only question is whether or not he'll abide by the events in the books. i.e. Han and Leia having twins, Leia becoming a Jedi, Luke becoming a Jedi Master, etc.

Peace

I've always felt the three-way battle between the Jedis and Darth Maul was a tactical blunder on Lucas's part.

It's a great bit of special effects and exciting combat, and the musical score is superb . . . but Maul paradoxically is identified as the underdog!!!

So what the audience sees is one poor guy who is so good he's able to match up against two Jedi Knights, and I found myself almost rooting for the SOB to beat them both!!!! :P

The only thing bad about the 3-way battle was that Maul was killed. IMO he was the best thing since Vader. Maul should have escaped and come back in Episode II.

I mean, think about it. Obi-wan got lucky. He stands toe-to-toe with Darth Maul but gets beat in 30 seconds by some old geezer Count Dooku? Give me a break.

Roland, you came very close to getting your wish. Maul could have easily wasted Obi-wan while he was hanging there nearly helpless but in classic villian fashion he loitered around, playing with his "victim" giving our hero the opening he needed to pull it out. Stupid villians. :D

Old geezer? More like Christopher freaking Lee! It's obvious age has nothing to do with it, either, as Yoda musta been hundreds of years old by the time he brought the whoopass down on Dooku.

Oh yeah, and that would be an interesting three-way: Maul versus Dooku versus Yoda.

And after seeing Yoda fight Dooku, I wondered why he even bothered training Luke. Luke coulda sat down, told The Yoda the whole story, and Yoda coulda said, "I'll be right back". He'd hop in Luke's ship, take off to Cloud City, and Vader wouldn't even have a chance! End of story, roll credits! They could've changed Empire's title to Yoda is Cool.

Did we see the same movie? That duel ended in a stalemate.

No, dlph, I watched a completely different movie in which Yoda just happened to be dueling Christopher Lee. ;) Anyway, Yoda was a freaking blur doing 50 back flips in the air, so the upper half of my sentence still stands.

Plus, the only reason it ended was because of the old "fight me or save your friends" thing. I'm pretty damn confident that Yoda woulda smacked Dooku down in the end, had he not tucked tail and ran. Heck, you know it means something when a Sith runs away from a duel.

from "the empire strikes back"

Han is hitting on Leia

Han " You like me because I am a scoundrel, there are no scoundrels in your life”
*leaning in*
Leia “That’s not true, I like nice men”
*also leaning in*
Han “I am nice men” (note: not “I am a nice man”)
*kiss*
C3PO walks in and say some good news…

For me, it was when I found out Luke was Leia's brother. Of course, I wasn't so happy when I found out who her dad was......

Yeah, but didn't Leia make out with Luke? You don't have a problem with that?

Buddy, I had a problem with it even before I knew they were related! Still, I can't blame Leia for not knowing Lucas was going to change the plot as he went along......look how Chewie's family got screwed! They got cut in favor of the Ewoks! Hooking up with a doll like Leia is still better than that, even if she turned out to be mildly incestuous.
