Maybe his favour was to bring Thomas back to life.ScrapOSamadhi wrote:The book stated the Kassy broke his own bonds but I wouldn't be surprised if Esmer didn't help (the ultimate betrayal against the Elohim). Given his nature he should owe the world one big favor for that one.

When Anele was reading the stole of Revelstone why did it remember Kastenessan? It didn't remember Berek and Anele said it was because Berek was never there.
That seems pretty strange to me.

Kastenessen
I dont believe Kastenessen is the harbringer..... but I do believe he is the other powerful force that possesses Anele. Linden feels the power of that being when he is in Anele, and if Kastenessen is powerful enough to break free.... the two seem to tie together.

Does the book *specifically* say so?Darth Revan wrote:No, they're called Skurj.
I don't have it in front of me but I thought it was still speculation at this point.

How about 10,000 White Gold dollars?Darth Revan wrote:The evidence pretty much states the obvious. And I'd be willing to bet any amount of money on this.High Lord Tolkien wrote:Does the book *specifically* say so?Darth Revan wrote:No, they're called Skurj.

Still, it's a lot of fun.
SOmeone needs to restock the store though.

If Kastenessen is around these days, then the keystone was not destroyed; rather, Kastenessen was released somehow, unbound, restored to name and choice and time."Because of his despair, we were compelled to bind him to his place, reaving him of name and choice and time to set him as a keystone for the threatened foundation of the north. Thus was the fire capped, and the Earth preserved, and Kastenessen lost."
The Elohim could do that (I suppose). But why would they? Could Foul's blight on the Elohim have grown so much that they would do this? (A word here, a whisper there ...)
.
Why didn't Lord Foul (or the 2 Ravers) spring Kastenessen? Or maybe a croyel?
Ahhhh... not enough information... Can't wait for FR... I think Esmer is a good bet, but he doesn't seem to know about Kastenessen first hand, at least not yet...

hey speaking of Esmer
I think he has something to do with TC's and Jeremiah's appearence at the end of Runes. Why not?Who knows when his chain of help then betrail will end?I just hate Esmer I like his character, but I just can't stand him as a person.
