Um, hi. I'd like to introduce myself . . .

I--I'm Lord Foul. I’m an Aquarius, and I’m remotely--no--I’m out-and-out evil. I don't think being evil is morally wrong--if people could only experience how great it feels, they'd not call "evil" evil! Um, well, um, I hope I made a, uh, good impression!

Hi, all. Longtime, practically lifelong fan of "Chronicles" and Donaldson's other works. This is a great site. 8)

I just adore this site. It's freakin awsome. :R

Just fant-abulous. :borg: :goodnevil:

Hmmm I wonder if us newbies tend to go a little overboard with the emoticons. Well might as well get it out of my system.

Vain put a lot of hard work into those emoticons; might as well use 'em.

As a certain potential indictee might say, "it's a good thing."
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Hi everyone,

I discovered your site about a month ago and have enjoyed visiting from time to time. I first read the original Covenant series as a kid somewhere in the late '70's, and immediately fell in love with the Land. When the Wounded Land appeared, I devoured it eagerly but with a great sense of loss for all that had drawn me to the Land in the first place.

I am currently in the midst of a rereading of the series after probably a good 7-8 years since my last. I always wonder whether the magic will still be there, and somehow the Land and the characters come alive for me every time. I am struck once again also by the depth and nuance of the moral and spiritual questions with which SRD grapples in the two trilogies.

I am excited to hear about the projected 3rd Chronicles. Looking forward to getting to know you all!
