hello all
Hi.
First time here, and it's late at night. I'll make this brief...
I read the chronicles when I was 15 years old, and I'm just now rereading them, which is why I decided to take a look on the internet. I have always loved this series, and am finding that it's even richer on this second reading (or third, in some cases--I reread several of the books in past years), now that I'm 28. I'm very happy to find that not only do I'm still enthralled by this series, I understand Thomas Covenant and the way the people of the land view him more than I did the first time I read it. Right now, I'm half way through The Illearth War, and am appreciating it so much more now. Which says a lot, considering how I felt about it when I first read it.
Sometimes I write, and like Covenant, sometimes I want to burn what I write...
Anyway. I'm glad this place exists, and I'll drop in from time to time, to read thoughts, and perhaps post some of my own.
Hail, Earthfriends!

It seems I should read this thread from time to time! This is not respect!danlo wrote:Some even get a Lord's Staff just 4 appearing! But since some of us think "The Cold Mountian" is just another extention of Fist/Sybil it's understandable!

Now Fist, don't get yourself in a tizzy! Honestly, you Haruchai are so thin-skinned!! You didn't even welcome the new members.
Welcome all! Have a GREAT time!!
And hug a tree!
Welcome all! Have a GREAT time!!
And hug a tree!

One wide forest of sentience and passion filled all the region - one mind and heart alive in every leaf and bough of every tree among the many myriad throngs and glory of the woods.
