Halfway down the stairs Is the stair where I sit. There isn't any other stair quite like it. I'm not at the bottom, I'm not at the top; So this is the stair where I always stop.

Joy, I'm sincerely touched by your concern. I fully intend to seek maximum medical assistance first thing in the morning. Were I to go straight to hospital, the first thing I'd be asked is whether I consulted my doctor first.

My mum, having discovered my newly (further) decreased health, has told me this evening that we have a history of diverticulitis in the family, so it could be something along those lines. Though she, being a mother, is coming up with all kinds of extreme possibilities, like Crohn's disease...

While 6000 posts is indeed a mind-boggling number, it's slightly daunting to realise there are now members who can do that in a week :lol:
