i scanned most of the posts for the dates,times ,etc.. and was unable to find.i,m kinda thinking i'd like to attend w/ my son since we'll be on the east coast during that time period.

It's the first full weekend in August in Middletown, New York.

There is also another thread ongoing about whether or not to go see Spamalot as a group, or maybe a baseball game as part of it, as well.

You might want to skim through that thread, too.

I had to run upstairs and get my datebook. The exact dates are Friday, August 5 though Sunday, August 7. A couple of us are staying longer than that, and the Yankees/White Sox game we hope to see is on Wed. August 10, which is free cap give-away night.

Some of us will be staying at the Courtyard by Marriott in Middletown, and there is a Holiday Inn Express next door, as well.

About how old is you son? Mine are 12 and 16. Fisty's children are all younger then mine, I believe. I do not know if anyone else will be bringing their kids?

Hard to believe that two weeks from now exactly we'll be running around Manhattan together!

Wonder what we'll be doing at 2PM? Riding the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island ferry? Eating lunch at a great little pizzaria in Little Italy? Relaxing in the sunshine in Central Park? Getting ice cream at the Cold Stone Creamery at Times Square?

Yes, dlb -- I will be bringing along my guidebook that lists all of the best bakeries for cupcakes.

I'm coming in to La Gaurdia 7-30 (my Dad's b-day) and leaving late in the afternoon 8-7 so I'll be able to spend all day Saturday with y'all and early Sunday morning.
