Although it took about three years of listening to her rant about TC, I finally got sick of it and decided to get the First Chronicles from the library. As of yet, I'm trying to juggle Thomas Crack and The Iliad, and failing-- but no fear! I shall catch up soon enough! (I have a talent of eating thick books within a week.)
I'm not very good at introducing myself. All I can say is that if I annoy you, I'm sorry. I tend to get into these... fangirl rages... where I kind of thrash and gnaw on furniture.
On a random note, I can't get my avatar to work on the forums. It was a tribute to all of the crazy stick-figureness I see on here. I think it was all of the strong-loined Haruchai imagery that killed it. :\
