WooHoo!! WTG danlo! I thought you might choose to keep us all in suspense while you hung at 9,999!
Excellent job!
And Esmer, well done! That is a very fast 1,000!

Congratulations, Esmer!
However...
khatalenabwraith - 12 days to 1000 (averaging 68 posts per day!)
ChoChiyo - 37 days to 1000
I suspect khat's record won't be broken any time soon.
But, hey, who's counting? You're all a bunch of posting maniacs!
Equally impressive are the posting feats of folks like dlbpharmd, Cail, Murrin and CovenantJr: they started slow, but once they reached 1000, their subsequent thousands came fast and furious!

Thanks for the heads-up on TRC, Joy.
Okay, here's a revised unofficial list of the fastest posters to 1000 (Top 5):
khatalenabwraith - 12 days
TRC - 30 days
ChoChiyo - 37 days
The Esmer - 42 days
A Gunslinger - 71 days
These are difficult statistics to nail down precisely, so if I've made any errors or missed anyone, please speak up! Thanks.

Ummm..........
I just noticed the "Mile High Club" title below my name today.
I got a little pissed thinking someone changed my profile without my permision.
I thought it was some kind of sexual joke/insult that I didn't know about.
Then I remembered seeing this thread once but never read.
I don't know what to say.
You guys are weird.
Now someone hand me a mug of pitchbrew and I'll join you in welcoming the next member who has WAY too much time on thier hands.

Thank you, thank you.
I'd just like to add that I got as far as I did even being almost Mallory free.
I tried it a few times but I didn't inhale.
