Nevermind, now it says view your posts. That wasn't there a couple of days ago.

Hail PageLeafer! Be welcome here at the Watch. Welcome and true. :D
You do not hear, and so you cannot be redeemed.

In the name of their ancient pride and humiliation, they had made commitments with no possible outcome except bereavement.

He knew only that they had never striven to reject the boundaries of themselves.

Well, I figured as long as this messageboard has been around that there wouldn't be a chance in the wightwarrens that I could pick a Covenant-related username, so I picked the name that I had used back when I played Doom online (back in the early days of the internet!)

Mortem basically means death - and as much as TCoTC deals with death, I thought it was appropriate :)

hi all
Stonemaybe here answering the summonsing.....
I've been a Covenant fan for about 18 years now - I can still remember the delight of discovering the land after a couple of doomed attempts - possibly the first series taught me a bit of patience in my reading! No dragons/dwarves/elves in the first five pages and he's a sorry excuse for a hero isn't he? I've just remembered what the spur was - I'd seen the books in our local library and picked them up then put them down again. I was heavily into a computer game called 'Lords of Midnight' on the Spectrum and I remember someone wrote in to Crash magazine with tips for the game, and they mentioned the 'Illearth War'. Next time I was in the library Lord Foul's Bane was there and that was me hooked.
I must admit I was very freaked out when I saw that Runes of the Earth had been released, but that's a tale for another time!
Happy to be here,
Stonemaybe

Greetings. I am Bongani and have been a fan for let's see about 6 years. The Chronicles aren't your standard fantasy that's for sure bnut I love them all the same. I still hold that the Land isn't real and this has been the cause of much discussion betwixt my brother and I. That is all I can think to say.
As above, so below.
