have seen Angel Heart, Barfly, Johnny Hansome, Wild Orchid, and Rumblefish + Nine and Half Weeks. (you can leave your hat on)
angel heart several times, johnny hansome twice.
and then there's Sin City. loves Rourke.

You should see Mickey as The Cook in Spun, danlo. Do not, however, bother seeing him in Domino. Not that he did bad, just that the directing is too attrocious to sit through and does nothing with the available talent (I'm not convinced about Knightley's talent one way or another, but even her... uh, obvious talents are marred by the director's vision).

So it's you! I had heard there was a hetero guy somewhere in the world who doesn't think she's awesome. I just never imagined I'd actually meet him!dlbpharmd wrote:Teri Hatcher? meh.
I used to bus tables in a local restaurant. About 20 years ago. The waitresses were all a-flutter one evening, because Eric Roberts was dining there. I didn't know him yet, so I didn't even peek around the corner. Heh. Then I saw Best of the Best and By the Sword. (Is that the title? With F Murray Abraham.)

As for Eric Roberts, I'm pretty sure that he learned how to act from William Shatner. His over the top performances just kill me. I did like Best of the Best, though.
Heaven's Prisoners is a fave of mine. It strays a bit from the book, and Baldwin's physically wrong for the part, but I thought it was a great movie.
However, there's good naked and bad naked, and Teri Hatcher is definately bad naked...As in unattractive. Ever since Lois and Clark, I've never understood what all the fuss has been about this less-than-average-looking woman.

Agreed, although I will say she was a much better looking Lois Lane than Margot Kidder. However, there's good naked and bad naked, and Teri Hatcher is definately bad naked...As in unattractive. Heh, that's not difficult.

And absolutely on the Roberts/Shatner connection! It's uncanny!

In the same vein as Best of the Best... Blind Fury... or almost any other Rutger Hauer pic.
