I can't believe I missed the opportunity to play this game.

Loremaster, I think a new diety can spring up at any time. PM and ask Xar, but I am pretty sure that's the case.

Indeed, new deities can show up when least expected ;) check the rules and then pm me if you have questions, or if you want to enter the game. Menolly, the same is true for you, of course, if you want!

Okay, give me a couple of days to dwell on the game, then I will be in!

Okay, I've created my God-persona, and waiting on Xar's approval.

I am the self-fulfilling prophecy. Give love, and you WILL receive love. Let your every answer, your every action and reaction, your every desire, be rooted in love.

Go back and read the first few posts in the thread where Xar proposed the game, Bhakti. I posted I would be lurking (even called myself a dieties' diety ;) since I would be observing but not participating) as I've never taken part in a role-playing game before.

However, I only know the information posted in the thread. I'm not receiving any of the updates per turn.

Well, we've been going on for nine turns, so by now you should have an idea of how it works... c'mon, join in and take your seat among the gods :D

As for everyone: the turn will be over in about seven hours, but it might take me a bit more to post the results, since I won't be home tonight. Hold onto your seats, though: it looks like much is going to happen...

I think this last turn has taught me about taking my time and considering all my actions - I sent mine in right at the start of the turn, then had to revise them twice as things played out between those taking part.

Ah, me too. I had to run back upstairs, restart the computer, log on to the internet and send revised instructions at the last minute before I left for holiday. :D

Hey Lore, welcome aboard. :D And Menolly, you should be joining us too. I've never played a game like this, and I don't suck too much. :D
You do not hear, and so you cannot be redeemed.

In the name of their ancient pride and humiliation, they had made commitments with no possible outcome except bereavement.

He knew only that they had never striven to reject the boundaries of themselves.

I am Maeror, Lord of Tears. I grieve, I heal wounds, I occasionally close alien rifts. (Fingers crossed. It's been three turns already and the thing still isn't completely shut!)
Welcome to the game.

It's still a bit of a mystery who I play, but I'm sure you will be able to figure it out. :D

I do sometimes have to curb my more aggressive instincts in this game, since it is probably of more good to cooperate with the other players than to oppose them. Loremaster, I am sorely tempted to launch an invasion against your city. I think it would be unsporting, however, so I will resist.
