I think I am missing something here. Is there something about the Close, Think-Tank and Loresraat forums and Avatar that I should know about? I have taken a brief look at some of those forums, but I am really more interested in the discussion of SRD's work. I have noticed that most of the recent posts are in more general interest forums and not specifically about the books. I hope it is okay if I bring up older posts more pertaining to questions about the stories. I realize that maybe these points have been discussed endlessly before and people are tired of them, but as I haven't looked at the books in nearly 20 years they are new to me. I really enjoy the search feature of the site as I am able to pull up older discussions about questions that I have. However I am a little leary about adding to a thread where the last post was added over a year or more ago. I will take another look at some of the other forums and see if there is anything that I can add to the discussion.

yes, indeed, welcome Sandgorgon Rider! 8) I think you'll find a VERY tolerant bunch here, (ask anyone, I know :biggrin: ) so I wouldn't worry.....doesn't mean go crazy stirrin the pot, so to speak, but I think we can all accomodate you "catching up" here. ;)

I am totally new here, I just found this forum.

I read the TC books when they first came out and have read them numerous times.

I didn't even know he was writing more until I accidentally found The Runes at the library. I flipped out.

When is the 2nd one coming out does anyone know.
