Hi, new here

Post by Dukkha of Earl »

Hello! Following instructions here LOL - glad I could find this board. I'm a enthusiastic, albeit not deeply-versed fan of the Covenant series. I'm currently rereading it (in the middle of Illearth War) after having spotted Runes of the Earth at the store; was very surprised SRD would pick up this story line again, although looking forward to what I imagine will be the true conclusion of the story. Also looking forward to seeing others' thoughts on the books; saw thread about movie talk & will definitely check that out. Figure if they can do LOTR, they can tackle this...

Was actually referred here by Sindatur, who I know courtesy of the Lost General Board. Hi Sind, will check out your fanfic also. Those of you who hang out there also will know me as meeps_r_us and yorkiesrus. Again, looking forward to reading lots of Land/Covenant talk.
Waynhims are way cool...

Thanks for the welcome.

Quick question: where does everybody get their cool avi's? Is there a SRD/Covenant avi site?

Dude, when you get the answer to that, please to be sharing with me. I've been trying to upload a custom avi since last year.

To upload a custom Av, you have to host it somewhere.
EG: www.imageshack.com
www.photobucket.com

Then copy the code given to you into the 'host avatar off site' box in your profile.

A Lot of the avatars here are made by Edge.
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.

Please make sure they're only around 150x200 pixels though, otherwise the board stretches off the screen on medium resolutions. :)

Yo. I'd be aliantha's eldest daughter. I followed her on here 'cause it seemed like a good idea at the time.

I'm currently in the middle of the end - so about 3/4 - of LFB. I have my own copy of the book which I happily special ordered from my store - I figured that continuing to destroy my mother's book was a bad idea... ^.^" I think I'm proud of it, though the ink on the map's all smudged, so I have to keep referring to mum's bookcase anyway... Alas...

I'll be going now, then.

Welcome to the Watch!
It'd take you a long time to blow up or shoot all the sheep in this country, but one diseased banana...could kill 'em all.

I didn't even know sheep ate bananas.
