Wondering about this:
Why is it that you think Nephirthos was responsible? He could be, I admit, but I had simply assumed that Xar was taking the opportunity to get rid of two characters he had full control of. If it had been actual players of the game that were targetted, I'd have reacted.Movahl wrote:I find it amusing Nephirthos that deicide was not enough to unite your brothers against you. Perhaps it is the spectacularness of the crime that has captured attention?
The murder of a god is a terrible thing, but it does lack the visual impact of your latest atrocity.

Well, whether Zephir... er, Nephirthos, Solina was, indeed, murdered. I hope we survive the shatterings, awakenings, etc, long enough to find out whodunit.
I am the self-fulfilling prophecy. Give love, and you WILL receive love. Let your every answer, your every action and reaction, your every desire, be rooted in love.
Sorry for the delay guys, but as I said, I'll be erratic until July 5th... I'm home right now and on a 56k modem, which sorely limits my chances to be online. Since it takes a little while to update (due to having to check all messages and so on), it would take three times as much on a 56k... fear not though, we should get an ADSL line either this or next week, so I hope I'll be able to update either before sunday, or shortly after next sunday. Again, sorry for having skipped a turn!

For what it's worth, I think that no changes should be permitted after the (already passed for last turn) deadline.
It used to be called a deadline for a reason you know.
Personally, as far as I'm concerned, once I submit moves, alea jacta est.
Last thing I did on thursday before I left the office was send my moves to Xar, because I wouldn't be back again til monday, when I expected the turn to be over. And that's it. Moves are made. No changing them now.
So I oppose the changing of moves once submitted.

Finally back from holidays and the scientific retreat! Expect the long-awaited results for turn 18 by this sunday, and sorry for the LOOOOONG delay!
P.S.: In answer to the question as to whether it is ok to change one's actions after the deadline (as long as the results haven't been calculated yet) - as I said in the past, I'd much rather receive only one pm on sunday afternoon than an avalanche of PMs with different and often conflicting orders all the way from monday to sunday; so in the first place, if you send me more than one PM and after the results are published you find out there's been some confusion on my part about what you wanted to do, please don't complain afterwards; having to go through 2-8 pms from the same player is cumbersome and time-consuming, and if I make mistakes in doing so it's not my fault.
Secondly, about the deadline: I'd really appreciate if no more PMs with orders were sent after the deadline, even if the results for the turn haven't been published yet. In fact, I'd appreciate it so much that I think from now on I'll simply discard any PMs with turn moves sent to me after the deadline is past. Sorry guys, but this is supposed to be a game for me as well, and it doesn't feel like a game if I have to sift through dozens of PMs and/or expect new PMs even as I write the results.
