New here...

Post by Jade »

Hello! I'm new to Kevin's Watch but not to SRD. I've always been a major fan of Thomas Covenant, and thus, SRD.

I also have recently enjoyed Steven Erikson's Malazan Book of the Fallen series. I've read through to House of Chains, and all of his books in this series have been amazing. It makes a close second with SRD's Covenant Chronicles, but in the end, the Land always wins out :D

I also enjoy other things such as video gaming (Gamecube mostly), surfing the Net and (of course) *talking*. Alot.

Anyhow...so there I am. Take me or leave me. ;)

Hail Jade, be welcome and true here at the Watch. :D
You do not hear, and so you cannot be redeemed.

In the name of their ancient pride and humiliation, they had made commitments with no possible outcome except bereavement.

He knew only that they had never striven to reject the boundaries of themselves.

Welcome to the watch. Make sure you have a look at the Games forum.
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.

Thanks. It's nice to be here with so many other Covenant fans...and apparently Big Brother fans too. :) Although I'm not much of a Big Brother fan myself. Usually too busy and I've never taken the time to watch it.

Anyhow, I look forward to exploring this site. Can anyone explain to me what "Dissecting the Land" is all about? Someone mentioned it and it sounded interesting to me. Thanks for your help!

That is the Dissecting the Land forum.

Here each chapter of the First and Second Chronicles has been ducussed and reviewed.

We are currently about 1/4 of the way through Runes of the earth.
