A Newbie That Went Over Here First

Post by Doc Locke »

What's going on, all?

So I can't believe there's more Thomas Covenant! I was in the library actually looking for the original series when I happened to discover The Runes of the Earth... that was a great discovery. Right now I'm about a third through it.. 177 of 513.

I'll write more later, but I have to get to bed so let me tell you at least one thing:

READ DONALDSON'S GAP CHRONICLES IF YOU HAVEN'T DONE SO. They are the only type of science fiction in their class, and the most exciting fiction I've ever read (if you can get through the abundantly strange first book and start on the second, you'll be hooked). 8)

Hail Doc Locke, welcome to the Watch. :D
You do not hear, and so you cannot be redeemed.

In the name of their ancient pride and humiliation, they had made commitments with no possible outcome except bereavement.

He knew only that they had never striven to reject the boundaries of themselves.

Welcome Doc Locke (do I detect a "Lost" affiliation with that name of yours? Another obsession of mine!)

No "Gap" film yet, Doc... ;)

But I'm leading the charge to cast Josh Holloway (who plays Sawyer in "Lost") to be Nick Succorso - he is PERFECT for the role in every way! If you wanna see some other casting choices, go to the "Gap Discussion" under the topic "Gap-Filmed"...
