Just joined - couldn't resist it!

Post by Angoid »

*Newbie Alert*

I read the Thomas Covenant books as a student, and I discovered this forum some time ago, and you know? one of those things where you keep coming back and deciding "Shall I join?" so finally taken the plunge!

It looks like a friendly community around here.

When I worked at my old company, I donated my Thomas Covenant books to a little internal library that was being formed so alas! I don't have them any more  but maybe this'll be encouragement to re-purchase them......

Hiya Wayfriend,
Given you're in Massachusetts and I'm in the UK, it's unlikely :P

However, thanks for the welcome :)

Welcome Angoid! It is a friendly place....except for Hile Troy's Think Tank. Enter there at your own risk.

Don't get us wrong angoid, the tank is awesome if you want to participate in the WWF of political and social commentary battling. I frequently dip a toe in the tank. I just thought forewarned would be forearmed.

Hail Angoid, welcome to the Watch. :D

Welcome to the Watch! Yes, the Tank is where I end up mostly posting these days, if I do post when not on Travel. I've gotten very heated in there and down right angry!!! :-x  ... but I do learn many things. ;)
Cowboy: Why you doin' this, Doc?
Doc Holliday: Because Wyatt Earp is my friend.
Cowboy: Friend? Hell, I got lots of friends.
Doc Holliday: ... I don't.
