I've always hated the taste of alcohol, so I make mine without, although it can go either way. An extremely easy recipe.
-Whip a couple egg whites.
-Whip a small thing of heavy cream.
-Fold them together.
-Beat the yolks with some sugar, and whatever flavor you want. I use imitation rum extract or vanilla extract, but whatever you're in the mood for. Rum is what the recipe originally said.
-Fold this into the other stuff. Then I taste and see if I need more sugar or flavor.
It's called Spoon-up Eggnog, because it's really thick. If you make it at Thanksgiving, it makes a fantastic whipped cream for the pies!
