"Turpide Rogue" is almost as big a hoot as "Briney the pirate". Sounds like Monty Python lampooning a Pink Panther movie. Maybe that's what the Old Lords were laughing about at the end of TPTP. I'd cringe and evanesce if I were Foul too.

Made some comments on this new translation here.

"Turpide le Rogue" is indeed a quite flashy/in-your-face way of saying he was a rogue turpitudinous Lord... just as "Lord Foul" was a flashy/in-your-face way of saying he was... a foul Lord... this is quite consistent, although "Maître Turpide" or "Seigneur Turpide" might have been a bit better.
